  4. eol [unix | standard]                           Default: standard

  6.         Display or set Telnet's end-of-line behavior when in remote echo
  7.         mode.  In 'standard' mode, each key is sent as is.  In 'unix'
  8.         mode, CRs are translated to LFs.

  10.         This command is not necessary with all UNIX systems; use it only
  11.         when you find that a particular system responds to LFs but not to
  12.         CRs.

  14.         Only SunOS release 3.2 seems to exhibit this behavior; later
  15.         releases are fixed.
